
The release of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s highly anticipated upcoming album, Dummy Boy, has been postponed following his arrest earlier this week.
The Brooklyn rapper made the announcement through his Instagram account on Wednesday (Nov. 21).
“Due to circumstances beyond our control we have postponed the release of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Dummy Boy until further notice,” the post reads. Further details were not provided.
6ix9ine was arrested Nov. 18 by federal ATF and Homeland Security agents on six counts of various racketeering, firearms, assault with a dangerous weapon, and conspiracy murder charges.
Hours before the arrest, the rapper shared the track list to Dummy Boy, which was originally slated to drop Friday (Nov. 23). The star-studded effort includes appearances by Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, A Boogie, Tory Lanez, Gunna, Bobby Shmurda and more.
