T-Pain recently performed an intimate set at the NPR studio headquarters in Washington, D.C., stripping back his sound for a laid-back performance full of his classic hits.
The show marked the one-year anniversary of T-Pain’s Tiny Desk Concert performance, which was the NPR series’ most popular of all time. It also comes with the 10-year anniversary of the singer’s influential debut album, Rappa Ternt Sanga.
The performance included “Tipsy,” “Can’t Believe It,” “Bartender” and a cover of Sam Cooke‘s “A Change Is Gonna Come.” It also featured newer songs “I Need to be Smokin” and a previously unheard song from T-Pain’s upcoming album, Stoicville: The Phoenix, called “Officially Yours,” which he shared on its own last month.
