To kick off their premiere episode of Fireside Chat on TuneIn, DJ Reflex and Anthony Valadez nabbed TDE’s SZA for an interview.
The light-hearted discussion finds the songstress delving into the creative process for her forthcoming album CTRL and also her growth as an artist. “I’m just learning myself,” she reveals in the candid interview. “I’m still learning myself, but I think I am comfortable with what I do and don’t know by now. So, I don’t know. I just think I had to be prepared for myself. Last time I just made an album cause I had to put out an album.”
As for the launch of Fireside Chat, DJ Reflex explained his intentions for his new interview series. “Anthony [Valadez] and I thought, ‘how great would it be to go camping with artists to truly get to know them?’ Then we realized artists probably don’t want to actually camp with us, so instead we thought, ‘let’s create the best open air conversation we can with artists as if we were hanging around a campfire.’”
