Swae Lee and Tory Lanez each notched a slew of collaborations in 2017, and now the two hitmakers have seemingly teamed up for a collaboration of their own. On Tuesday, Lee and Lanez teased a possible team-up in a brief exchange on Twitter.
“@goSwaeLee I don’t know if they ready for what we bout to do [—-??] [–],” Lanez wrote. Lee re-posted the message and added a few emojis with sardonic smiles, then replied, “Definitely not.”
It’s the first collaboration from the pair, who are both gearing up to unleash projects in 2018. The “Shooters” rapper will release his sophomore album, Memories Don’t Die, preceded by singles “Skrt Skrt” and the Future-assisted “Real Thing.”
Earlier in December, Swae Lee revealed that Rae Sremmurd‘s Sremm Life 3 would arrive in January. Lee and Lanez’s upcoming collab could possibly land on either one of their impending projects, though they haven’t revealed any further details.
