“New song ft. Adele tonight” Swae Lee tweeted on Sunday (April 1.) For about an hour, the Rae Sremurrd member enticed his fans with a possible collaboration with the pop superstar. Despite it being April Fools day, the news spread like wildfire through Twitter.
“April fools mane I love the s— outta you,” Swae Lee later tweeted out, joining a raft of celebs including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Seth Rogen and Ryan Seacrest. Regardless of Swae’s deception, Rae Sremmurd has been kind to their fans recently. On March 1, the duo released three new tracks from their long-awaited Sremmlife 3. On March 12 they provided visuals to one of the singles “Powerglide” with Juicy J. In addition, the group will also be hitting the road with Childish Gambino for his Awaken My Love! Tour, which kicks off Sept. 6.
