Soulja Boy can’t seem to turn his swag off. The Atlanta rapper recently alluded to signing a $400 million deal on Twitter, writing in a May 1 tweet, “$400 million deal confirmed. I still they think they low balled me though. I was thinking 2 or 3 billion.”
Now, Soulja Boy has become the latest addition to the FilmOn Records family. On Wednesday night (May 11), the rapper took to Instagram to post flicks of him with billionaire and FilmOn CEO Alki David with the caption “I’m in the fam @alkidavid.” The label also carries signee Chief Keef, whose contract with the company was suspended last November over management issues.

It’s unclear whether Soulja Boy’s business venture with FilmOn and the $400 million deal are connected. A rep for Soulja Boy did not immediately respond to Billboard‘s requests for comments, while David offered in a statement over e-mail, “Soulja Boy is in the FilmOn family.”
Besides his FilmOn partnership, Soulja Boy is also the CEO of SODMG Records and owns a line of light-up kicks called SBeezy Lights. He was also credited as a writer on “Hold Up” off Beyonce‘s game-changing visual album Lemonade where she borrows a few lines from Soulja Boy’s 2008 viral hit “Turn My Swag On,” singing, “I hop up out the bed and get my swag on/ I look in the mirror, say ‘What’s up?'” In one of his latest Instagram posts, Soulja Boy sums up his mood by simply writing, “Rich vibes only.”
