In addition to surprise releasing her 19-track When I Get Home album, Solange also delivered a short film of the same name, exclusively on Apple Music. On Monday (March 11), the Houston-born singer unleashed the standalone “Binz” music video, which features a shortened version of the already-concise deep cut.
With the smooth percussion-filled instrumental blaring in the background, Solange sprinkles in her own spice of self-love for the visual by piecing together raw footage of her happily dancing solo in front of a webcam. The smiling “Cranes in the Sky” singer goes from twerking in the living room to the kitchen, with various wardrobe changes made throughout the clip.
When I Get Home debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, where it moved 43,000 equivalent album units in its first week. 11,000 of those units were in actual pure album sales. Solange previously earned her first No. 1 album with A Seat at the Table when the project eventually catapulted to the top of the charts on Oct. 22, 2016.
