When it comes to his daily diet, Snoop Dogg just loves his greens. While on the road with Australia’s Big Day Out tour, the rap star has posted a photo of himself getting ready to feast on a plate of sliced summer fruit, chocolates, and bowl of what appears to be uncut weed.
The hip hop start reportedly shared his picture Tuesday from the Palazzo Versace hotel on the Gold Coast, where the BDO started its annual trek of Australia last weekend.
Snoop is wearing a skin-tight “Superman” shirt and holding what appears to be a lit cigarillo. The caption reads, “A Versace breakfast!!!”
Snoop’s affection for pot is no secret. Indeed, his Instagram page is a virtual shrine to the stuff. But his decision to indulge his habit so openly Down Under has ruffled some feathers.
In the lead-up to the BDO, women’s group Collective Shout petitioned for the government to revoke Snoop’s work permit, referring to his “criminal history” that “reportedly includes drug and weapons possession, voluntary manslaughter, inciting violence and assault.” The petition gathered more than 3,500 signatures.
Federal immigration minister Scott Morrison approved Snoop’s permit on that occasion. After sharing his breakfast spread, Morrison now says Snoop “may regret this stunt” the next time he seeks a visa.
