Hip-hop veterans Slum Village are ready for summer with their newest single “Expressive,” a groovy ode to the ladies that inspire them, featuring verses from BJ The Chicago Kid and Illa J. The second release off their upcoming eighth album, Yes!, “Expressive” taps a bass-heavy J Dilla beat to keep the classic Slum Village sound intact.
