But wait — there might be more shake your head at here besides Shia saying he’s so underground that rap kids call him Tubman. Two of his lines appear to be lifted from Anomolies‘ 1999 song “Perfectionist.” Check out the comparison in the video below:

“Perfectionist” was never a prominent song, but still, those similarities are pretty striking. So word to the wise, if you’re freestyling — even in a completely joking manner — it’s probably not a good idea to lift someone else’s verses.
