A concert originally scheduled as a tribute to rapper Shawty Lo‘s father — who died on Sept. 6 of a sudden heart attack — has been turned into a memorial for the “Laffy Taffy” star following Lo’s death on Wednesday morning (Sept. 21) in a car crash. TMZ reports that after canceling some gigs to mourn for his dad, Shawty was slated to return to the stage for Thursday’s (Sept. 22) concert at Club Oxygen in Baltimore to perform a new track he’d written in his pop’s honor, “L2MF (Letter to My Father).”
