Run the Jewels plan to run the world just a little big longer. The dynamic pair of Killer Mike and El-P have added 13 dates onto their Run the World Tour.
After breezing through a whooping 36-date stretch in North America, Run the Jewels will hope to continue their fiery run in new cities, including Knoxville, Asheville, and New Orleans. For those dates, Denzel Curry and Cuz Lightyear will join the rap duo. Then, they will take their talents outside of the U.S. and hit Stockholm and Copenhagen with Detroit’s electric MC Danny Brown.
Since the Christmas release of their album Run the Jewels 3, Killer Mike and El-P have accomplished some impressive feats. For one, they recently scored two A2IM Libera Awards for rap/hip-hop album of the year and video of the year for DJ’s Shadow’s “Nobody Speak.” They’ve also made a cameo in the new Baywatch film and earned a placement in the trailer for the forthcoming Black Panther movie, which is slated for a 2018 release.
