Days before the release of his second solo studio album, “This Song Is For You” (July 16), Ronald Isley premieres his latest, “My Favorite Thing,” exclusively on The Juice.
The smooth love song, which follows the album’s first single, “Dinner and a Movie,” features R&B singer, Kem.
“Kem wrote and produced this song. We recorded it in Detroit, in the same studio I recorded a song with Aretha Franklin,” Isley tells the Juice. “I had a great time working with Kem. I’ve been a big fan of his music and was really looking forward to recording this song. He’s so talented and a great artist. I know he’ll be around for a very long time.”
The 13-song effort also features Trey Songz.
Isley is set to hit the road this summer. Kem and Frankie Beverly will be joining the legendary singer. Tour dates will be announced soon.
