Rick Ross has been on a remix kick. As part of his #RenzelRemixes series, the MMG rapper spun his own version of Drake and Future’s “Jumpman.” Dipped in Black Bottle Boy shout-outs and lines about his lavish life, Ross finds a home on the Metro Boomin-produced bassline.
The What A Time To Be Alive track isn’t the only record Rozay has hopped on. This past week, he rolled out remixes for Post Malone’s “White Iverson,” Future’s “Stick Talk” and perhaps the most surprising cut of the bunch, Adele’s “Hello.”
The influx of bars is a taste of what’s to come on the Double-M bawse’s forthcoming eighth studio effort, Black Market. “It’s like a one-on-one conversation, and I’m being straight direct,” Ross recently told Maxim about the LP. “With the music I’m making and the conversation, the flows, I’m really setting album to be possibly the pinnacle album of my career.”
While the Internet waits on it, dive into young Renzel’s new remix below.
