Rick Ross is ready to flex his acting chops a bit more in 2020. Ricky Rozay has joined the stacked cast of the long-awaited Coming to America sequel, Billboard can confirm.
The 1988 classic comedy is slated to hit theaters in December of 2020.
The MMG boss is joined by Wesley Snipes and SNL‘s Leslie Jones as new cast members, as The Hollywood Reporter also confirms. The film will see Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, Paul Bates, and James Earl Jones all reprising their former roles.
Rozay’s acting gig in the flick remains unknown; he previously appeared in Magic City and 2008 drama Days of Wrath.
During his press run in support of the forthcoming Port of Miami 2, Ross claimed that the Craig Brewer-directed Coming 2 America was actually doing some shooting in his ATL home, but he made no mention of his role. He’s also stated in the past that Coming to America is his favorite movie ever.
