
Rick Ross is getting on the surprise release bandwagon — he just announced that his next album Black Dollar will drop Sept. 3 (as in, Thursday). Ross also shared the album’s first track, a melancholy, reflective tune called “Foreclosures” (“foreclosed on my past life”), which you can hear below.

Black Dollar‘s timing isn’t just surprising because of the short notice — Ross’s headlines recently have centered on his legal troubles, and his association with the beef-beleagured Meek Mill. Now, it looks like he’s trying to shift the focus back to his music.
