Earlier this month, Rae Sremmurd gifted fans with three new tracks from their long-awaited album, SremmLife 3. On Monday (March 12), the ambitious rap tandem liberated the visuals from one of their singles: “Powerglide” featuring Juicy J.
The speedy video finds Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi putting the pedal to the metal and drifting throughout a parking garage. Coasting in an American-flag-designed car, Jxmmi pulls his best Dominic Toretto impression and makes a strong case as to why he should be considered for the next Fast and Furious film. Later, a sea of bodacious models begin dancing on a rooftop, where Juicy J later appears clad in a white sweater. There, the veteran MC gives Mike WiLL’s booming beat a test drive with his energetic verse.

Aside from “Powerglide,” Swae and Jxmmi released solo cuts including “Hurt 2 Know” and “Brxnks Truck,” respectively. All three records will be featured on Rae Sremmurd’s triple-disc album, which will feature three separate projects: one from the group, a one from Jxmmi and one from Swae. In addition to their forthcoming album, the famed duo will be hitting the road with Childish Gambino for his Awaken My Love! Tour, which begins Sept. 6.
