Though the NFL season is over, that doesn’t mean that the players’ love for the game has died down. On Sunday (March 31), Quavo handpicked a slew of notable NFL stars such as Cam Newton, Von Miller, Sequan Barkley and more to play in his second annual Huncho Day football game.
One player who also joined in on the festivities was former NFL star, Colin Kaepernick. Kaepernick appeared to be in great shape, darting passes throughout the game with ease, including one to the Migos frontman.
The quarterback last played in the NFL during the 2016 season, where he was scrutinized for his decision to kneel during the singing of the National Anthem. Kaep’s protest caused backlash around the league and caused teams to steer away from signing the former Pro Bowler. Last February, he and his former teammate, Eric Reid, settled a complaint of collusion against football team owners, who they believed blackballed because of their decision to protest the National Anthem.

No doubt play of the day from #HunchoDay — @Kaepernick7 to @QuavoStuntin on a 2-point conversion … I’m saying call on the field stands after replay review. pic.twitter.com/R4BQ2nF2Dj
