Pusha T continues his promotional run for his latest acclaimed album, DAYTONA, with the Virginia-bred MC taking the album track “Santeria” to The Tonight Show Thursday (July 19). The hard-hitting performance was backed by G.O.O.D. Music signee 070 Shake and Fallon staple The Roots.
Pusha sets the tone for the set draped in black from head-to-toe. The ominous “Santeria” finds King Push paying homage to his fallen road manager De’Von “DayDay” Pickett on the track’s final verse. 070 Shake’s demonic cameo still serves as a bone-chilling standout during the live performance. The rising star introduced herself to the mainstream crowd with tuneful assists peppered throughout the G.O.O.D. Music summer releases.
Up next, Pusha T will embark on the North American leg of his DAYTONA Tour alongside fellow burgeoning G.O.O.D. Music artists in Chicago’s Valee and Sheck Wes. The trek kicks off next month (Aug. 2) in Milwaukee. Tickets are still available for purchase online.
