
Pusha T is a man possessed in the dark and eerie short film for “M.F.T.R.” featuring The-Dream, off the Clipse rapper’s second studio effort King Push: Darkest Before Dawn — The Prelude.
“Maybe this dream is trying to tell you something,” a priest tells Push in a confessional just before the Virginia rep climbs up walls, dangles from the ceiling and tries to exorcise his demons in the Kid Art production.

Push recently expanded on the meaning of “M.F.T.R.” — an acronym for “More Famous Than Rich” — in an interview with Billboard.
“When you look at society, it’s like a big masquerade even through social media,” he said. “I’m from a time, an era and a lifestyle where you can’t really speak on it without really having it. To be more famous than rich seems to be a thing that’s going on right now and I’m not into that.”

The dance with the devil in the nightmare-ish “M.F.T.R.” clip borrows from Pusha T’s Darkest Before Dawn short film, which was released alongside his album last week.
