Pusha T steps out of the studio to release his new song, “Lunch Money.”
The dissonant Kanye West-produced song features the rapper going for his competition (“If the crown ain’t mine, tell me who am I behind?”) and touching on the happenings of today (“America is still abusin’ us/ And 911 is the Ku Klux/ So why wouldn’t I fire back/ When every day them n—as are shootin’ us?”).
Twitter user @sayncs pointed out Pusha’s shout-out to the 1988 Nintendo video game Contra.
Pusha T has been in the studio with Pharrell Williams, ‘Ye and Hudson Mohawke working on the follow up to 2013’s My Name Is My Name, reportedly titled King Push.
