Prince recently released two albums simultaneously, both of which debuted at No. 1 on different Billboard charts. However, chart-topping feats are not necessarily unusual for Prince — the man has placed 21 hits in the top 15 on the Hot 100 over the course of his career. In contrast, today’s news that the star took a selfie represents a departure from his usual aversion to anything Internet-related.
Not that Prince pulled out the latest iPhone and snapped a pic. No, he took this selfie using an actual camera and the ancient piece of technology known as a “mirror.” His publicist told the Huffington Post, “Prince used an old-school camera because he doesn’t own a cellphone. He jokingly says, ‘We ban their usage anywhere around Us because We’re allergic 2 lithium and ‘Everybodyelsies.'”

The artist’s use of the term “Everybodyelsies” at least proves that his gift with the English language remains intact.
