
Earlier this year, we learned that Prince almost appeared on Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly. While Prince never got around to laying down vocals for “Complexion (A Zulu Love),” the pair did get to stir up some collaborative alchemy onstage.

On its official Facebook page, the Prince museum shared a (previously) rare video of Prince rocking a Paisley Park concert with Kendrick in 2014. The track is “What’s My Name,” a cut from Prince’s 1998 album Crystal Ball. Before a lucky live audience, Kendrick opened the song, before a majestically-afro’d Prince took the reigns midway through.
