The R&B singer-songwriter, who turned 37, took to Facebook to post about the surprise: “So this really happened the other night…… The President and First Lady sang me Happy Birthday at The White House & I got to perform for them. Usher was invited to the White House to perform for the 50th anniversary of the National Endowment for the Arts on Oct. 14, along with Queen Latifah, Smokey Robinson, and others, where he was then surprised with cupcake and candle.
