Cardi B has gone au naturel — at least for the moment.
The 25-year-old Bronx rapper, who is usually seen sporting stylish wigs and heavy makeup, shared a stripped-down selfie Wednesday (May 2) showing her natural hair and makeup-free face.
“Knock me down 9 times but i get up 10 bitch!” Cardi, who is pregnant with her first child with fiance Offset, captioned the candid Instagram photo. The note is a reference to lyrics from her song “Get Up 10.”
And of course, her fans loved it. “OMG your natural hair is GORGEOUS,” one commenter wrote. “Keeping it real. You are the queen,” another noted.
This isn’t the first time Cardi has shared a toned-down photo of herself on social media. The artist recently posted an image on her Insgtram story, noting that she was sick and slept in her studio to finish recording a song.
“So I slept in the studio, and I’m getting sicker and sicker — this Miami weather with the air condition f—ing me up,” the rapper wrote. “But I need to do one more song for my album, I just really need to do it.”
