Post Malone is stepping into 2020 with some fresh new ink.
Fans who caught the 24-year-old “Circles” singer’s performance at Dick Clark New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2020 in Times Square on Tuesday (Dec. 31) may have noticed a brand new tattoo on the right side of his face.
Ahead of his New Year’s Eve performance, Malone posted a selfie on Instagram that gave a glimpse the new tat. “Have a good ass new year,” he captioned the photo.
Tattoo artist Kyle Hediger gave fans a closer look at the medieval-looking tattoo — a hand covered in metal armor holding a flail weapon. The large tattoo runs down the right side of Malone’s face and onto his chin.
“Last tattoo of 2019. Gauntlet on the baby boy @postmalone love u. 2020 is going to be next level. Love you all,” Hediger captioned the Instagram photo.
Dressed a shiny pink suit, Malone headlined the 15th year of Rockin’ New Year’s Eve, performing his hit songs “Circles” and “Congratulations.”
“I dare you to do something” big in 2020!” Maone told the crowd.
Other NYE performers included BTS, Sam Hunt, and Alanis Morisette with the cast of the Broadway musical Jagged Little Pill.
