Lil B recently called out Post Malone for “slowly turning into a white dude,” which left fans of Post Malone miffed and the “rockstar” perplexed.
Posty expressed that he believed B’s tweets were due to an account hack and in a new interview with The Dana Cortez Show, he elaborated on why he was taken aback by B’s remarks.
“Lil B, I don’t know what happened ’cause Lil B has always had nothing but nice things to say,” he told the hosts. “Lil B is such a positive dude and I don’t think he would talk smack.” He added that he felt the tweets were “very out of character.”
Lil B first tweeted, “Post Malone is slowly turning into a white dude! Lol he’s pushing, it give it a few years he gon be full country and hate blacks lol.”
He went on to compare Post to Miley Cyrus. “Even Miley Cyrus was like fuck this black peole shit I’m tapping in with my white country family! Started crying about rap lol – Lil B,” he wrote referencing Cyrus’ Billboard interview from earlier this year where she criticized hip-hop’s explicit lyrics and graphic content.

Lil B continued his rant by praising Eminem as the only white rapper who “seemed to keep it real.” Malone didn’t believe it was actually B who was tweeting and replied, “this is not lil b nerd. Die.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Posty was asked how it felt to be a white rapper and whether he feels the label is “held against” him. Post agreed and added that it was hard in the early stages of his career, but thanks to his latest album Stoney — which peaked at No.4 on the Billboard 200 — he’s “shut a lot of people up.”
“It doesn’t bother me anymore that people question me,” he continued. “I just want to keep making the best music that I can.”
