After shining on his previous offering “Yellow Light,” Pharrell Williams gets loose with another Despicable Me 3 soundtrack cut titled “There’s Something Special.”
“There’s something special on the other side of this moment,” sings the “Happy” hitmaker on the sweet and snappy melody. As a father to triplets and a son, Rocket, this kid-friendly tune also finds Skateboard P upping his falsetto game.
“If it happens to rain on my plans, water and sweat will dry when they can,” he says on the track. “Not even cuffs will prevent this man from the connection between these two hands.”
While the full soundtrack rolls out on June 23, Despicable Me 3 will hit theaters on June 30.
