“Questlove is one of the most talented and influential artists of our time,” Pandora founder/CEO Tim Westergren said in a statement. “His near encyclopedic knowledge of the theory and history of music and his abiding passion for supporting artists of all kinds is a perfect match for our mission.”
Such knowledge and passion will be realized in the form of a weekly show curated and produced by Questlove. During the three-hour program — titled Questlove Supreme — the artist will take listeners on a “quest” through musical terrain through interviews with music fans and industry insiders, while also featuring new music selections.
In his role as strategic advisor, Questlove will work closely with Pandora to offer his own insight as an artist for other talent, and aid with new initiatives and product strategy.
