Offset recently sat down with Billboard to play “Fishing for Answers,” as he chatted about working with DaBaby, what his daughter Kulture’s favorite song to dance to is, what his secret talent is, and much more.
The rapper also recalls what it was like collaborating with DaBaby on “Baby Sitter,” explaining that they were both in LA at the time and they hit the studio together, wrote the song, and shot the video all within one week. “It was crazy cause, you know, it’s…a Billboard hit,” he says. “We made it so fast and we just acted on it…it was just great working with him.”
In the interview, Offset is also asked what his daughter Kulture’s favorite song to dance to is, to which he replies that it is “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes.”
“She knows it now, like, head, shoulders, knees, and toes…She’s very interactive,” he shares. “I think ‘Baby Shark,’ she kinda grew past that. ‘Cause now, babies get to a point where they want to learn, and learning is fun with them…and she still like ‘Apples and Bananas’ on YouTube. She know that word for word.”
As for what his secret talent is, Offset confesses, “I can dance like a motherfucker.” He adds that he showcased his dancing skills a little bit at the BET Awards.
“But really I go crazy with it,” he continues. “It just came a time where it wasn’t making me no money and it didn’t make no sense for me…so I just got into rap.”
