The couple once dubbed #Omeeka by timelines has experienced a whirlwind romance the past year. Meek was embroiled in a public feud with Minaj’s close friend/Young Money label mate Drake this summer, and was also found guilty of parole violation earlier this month.

Minaj testified at Meek’s Dec. 10 parole hearing, saying, “He’s not perfect but I can’t believe how much he’s changed.” Defense lawyer Frank DeSimone also said at the time that the rappers said were serious about getting married, according to The Associated Press.
The Queens rapper’s recent gifts from Mill didn’t help keep nuptial rumors on the low, either. After receiving a heart-shaped diamond ring in April, Minaj shut down engagement rumors in her recent Billboard cover story and revealed that he planned to give her several rings before the Big Day.

“He and I are not engaged,” she told Billboard earlier this month. “But he said he would like to give me three rings before we get married. My birthday’s coming up, and he better get the new one, because he got [the first one] for my last birthday. So let’s see what happens.”
Minaj recently shared a photo (Dec. 9) of the second diamond ring Mill gave her for her 33rd birthday.
