Nicki Minaj is revealing more of herself – and no, I’m not talking about her sexy shots on Instagram.
Today (May 21), Nicki Minaj released the first official single off “The Pink Print,” which features her alternating between sweetly singing and ferociously spitting of a burning love and betrayal: “Pills and potions/ We’re overdosing/ I’m angry but I still love you.”
“It’s a true story. The entire album is a true fucking story. It’s time,” she tweeted.
“It sounds like betrayal. It sounds like running. It sounds like fainting. It sounds like love. It sounds like… *gasp!*” she told Billboard on Sunday, while on the red carpet of the 2014 Billboard Music Awards.
The Dr. Luke-produced track is sure to make a splash on the charts, considering its crossover appeal.

This morning, she told Hot 97 that her third studio album “sounds more stripped.”
Nicki Minaj has been rocking a more natural lately, which she says goes with the “body of work” she’s working on: “I always wanted to go to my mixtape look… The stripped down look matches the music.”
We may, just may, see a collaboration between Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma.

Nicki Minaj will be performing at this year’s Hot 97 Summer Jam on June 1. She’s keeping her set minimal and is “just trying to come out and perform records that people want to hear.” One of those songs, include her Lil-Herb assisted, “Chiraq.”
