Is Nicki Minaj trying to tell us something?
The Young Money rapper took to Twitter on Monday night (July 10) with a message featuring a single emoji: a baby.

Fans definitely took the ball and ran with it in the replies, with most assuming that the cryptic tweet was a pregnancy announcement. Minaj fed into the fan furor by liking a handful of tweets about the possibility of her being pregnant, including one that just asked “BABY ON THE WAY ?????” and another that read “We said ‘DROP THE ALBUM’ not drop a baby…….”
This would be the first baby for Nicki if she is, indeed, adding a new member to the Young Money family. Minaj was last romantically linked to fellow rapper Nas, even confirming to Ellen DeGeneres back in May that the pair had a few “sleepovers.” The latest headlines about the rumored relationship, however, seemed to be pointing to a cooling off.
Billboard hadn’t heard back from a rep for Nicki for clarification on the tweet by press time.
