Nicki Minaj‘s 2014 Sir Mix-A-Lot flip “Anaconda” is her highest-charting Hot 100 single to date — and now, the original version (complete with some unheard bars) has hit the Internet, thanks to an upcoming compilation from one of the song’s producers, AnonXmous.
He leaked the track yesterday (Dec. 10) to promote his Hallucinagens mixtape, which gives an interesting glimpse into the life of a pop song. Some verses are the same, some are new, some are even from the rapper’s verse on Ciara‘s 2013 single “I’m Out,” suggesting that the song had been in the works at least since then.
