Nick Cannon has been public about his ongoing battle with lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease, as he has shared a handful of photos and videos of treatment and hospital visits across his social media channels.
Last week, Cannon shared an Instagram post announcing that he “will be in the Hospital through Christmas” along with a photo of his tattooed arm covered in bandages and an IV.
On Thursday (Dec. 29), Cannon took to the platform once more to reveal that after 2 weeks and 5 blood transfusions, “by his stripes I am healed!!!” He also wrote in the caption, “I broke out that joint!!!! Stuffed some pillows under the covers and ran out like the little rascals!! LOL.” Meanwhile, in the video he shows fans he went straight from the hospital bed to the studio.
“I feel great, we back at it… it’s a no pity party,” Cannon said in the video. “We taking the game over, 2017.”
