After releasing his ominous cut “Momma We Made It,” Sacramento MC Mozzy premieres his new record “Stay Over There” featuring YFN Lucci and Kolyon with Billboard.
For his new track, Mozzy’s unapologetic candor is a key highlight. Holding down the first slot, he shreds through the gloomy keys with raw honesty. “I just fell out with my n—a, tried to play me with some crumbs/ Death before dishonor for real is fake as f–k,” he raps.
His cohort, YFN Lucci, provides a searing hook the emphasizes the meaning loss and regret. “We were only trying to make a way/ They say the good die young, the good die young, I’m tryna’ go all the way,” he sings.
“Tomorrow ain’t promised. That’s the only promise,” Mozzy tells Billboard regarding his latest collaboration with Lucci and Kolyon.
