Kanye West isn’t the only one creating waves. In a case of perfect timing, singer Miguel released his new “Waves” remix today (Jan. 27) featuring Houston rapper Travis Scott.
The Cash Dillon-produced jam features the Wildheart crooner’s gritty vocals with some complementary bars from Scott. “Don’t stop, I wanna ride that wave / All night, I wanna ride that wave,” demands Miguel on the hook. “Look here, wanna surf in it baby.”
Miguel’s ‘Wildheart’ Debuts at No. 1 on R&B Albums Chart
Last July, Miguel’s third studio offering Wildheart rocked the No. 1 spot on the R&B Albums chart upon its debut. The project included collaborations with Kurupt on “NWA” and Lenny Kravitz on “face the sun.” He also debuted the official visual for “Waves” last October, which featured him having a blast under water.
The Los Angeles rep has also been surfing on a nice high after he proposed to his longtime girlfriend Nazanin Mandi. Hitch a ride with Miguel’s new tune “Waves” below.
