Rain drops. Drop top. Memes pop.
Migos‘ latest offering “Bad and Boujee” has struck Internet gold. After spending five weeks on the Hot 100 (the song was released in August), the Metro Boomin-produced single featuring Lil Uzi Vert has peaked at No. 24, steadily gaining traction thanks to its newfound viral appeal.
Like the Atlanta rap trio’s recent performance of the song in Lagos, Nigeria last week, the Internet has been losing its mind over the track and plucking the cut off Migos’ forthcoming album Culture as the soundtrack for memes and clever tweets, including a How The Grinch Stole Christmas-themed clip courtesy of Pigeons and Planes to a baby who stops crying once the beat drops.
