Meg Donnelly refuses to be boxed in. Whether the 18-year-old is starring in new shows or working on music, she’s going to dabble in whatever creative outlet she’s feeling at the time. On the heels of releasing “Digital Love” in March, the American Housewife actress returns to premiere her first major hip-hop collaboration in “With U” featuring Fetty Wap with Billboard on Thursday (May 16).
“I am beyond excited for everyone to catch a vibe to ‘With U,'” Donnelly tells Billboard, explaining that this was one of the first songs she ever penned. On the track, Meg harps on how people meet someone for the first time, and there’s just something innate that tells them this other individual could be the one.
Donnelly even got her fellow New Jersey native to expand his horizons and tap into his more pop persona for the lighthearted guest verse. “It was really dope to have the opportunity to collaborate with an amazing artist like Fetty Wap, he is such a genuine person and his talent is on another level,” she says. “I am thrilled that ‘With U’ is finally out, I hope everyone enjoys it!”
