Every now and then, the Internet can be a beautiful place. A viral video featuring the relatively unknown DJ Track Addict crafting a hard-hitting beat on his MPC machine began making the rounds on Wednesday. Fans began chiming in about who they’d like to hear on it, and after thousands of mentions on social media, the clip caught Meek Mill‘s attention.
“Where is [this] guy at … the game needs you,” the Philly native wrote. “I had 1000’s of people @ me in this …. now where is it.” Within a couple hours, Meek and Track Addict began going back-and-forth about a potential collab. “Come to the kitchen and let’s cook … you got more of this type,” Mill asked.
Before the night was out, Meek posted a snippet of himself rhyming over the viral Trizzy Track beat to his Instagram Story. He then hopped on Twitter to let fans know that the future track would be titled “Free Meek” and could possibly feature an assist from Rick Ross. “I am fucking this beat uppppppppp,” he proclaimed.
