After taking the stage at Rolling Loud this past weekend for his first post-prison concert, Meek Mill has already inked his next major performance. On Thursday (May 17), Hot 97 announced Meek Mill will join the Summer Jam stadium stage bill, joining the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, A$AP Ferg and more.
“New York is like my second home, man. East Coast is my second home and I can’t miss Summer Jam,” Meek told the Hot 97 hosts in a clip from his recent visit. Summer Jam will take over New Jersey’s Met Life Stadium on June 10 with its annual pre-show festival — featuring Don Q, Jay Critch, Famous Dex and Snoopy Dinero — and the main stadium stage.
In addition to Meek Mill, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Swizz Beatz & Friends, Remy Ma, Tory Lanez and more are set to headline the main stage.
Hot 97 has also donated $10,000 to the Justice League NYC to support the organization’s criminal justice reform efforts.
“We are happy to welcome our man Meek Mill to the Summer Jam stage. He has been through hell and what he needs is mad love and our continued support,” Hot 97’s Ebro Darden said in a statement.
Tickets for Summer Jam start at $59 and are available now via Ticketmaster.
