A massive gold-colored replica of Travis Scott‘s head appeared on the roof of Los Angeles’ Amoeba Records Friday (July 27), leading some to speculate that the rapper’s upcoming third album may be coming soon.
Scott has been hard at work on the new set, titled Astroworld, but a release date has not yet been given. His last full-length release, Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight, arrived in 2016 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
An employee at Amoeba Records reportedly said Astroworld will be released later this year.
“We just don’t know anything. Label person called us, they’e calling it an awareness campaign. There’s no information online or anything. It’s just a fun promo kind of thing,” the employee told HipHopDX.
Scott recently appeared on the cover of GQ with this partner Kylie Jenner. Jenner gave birth to the couple’s daughter, Stormi, earlier this year.
