Jay Z, Vic Mensa, Kid Cudi and Kanye West are among the latest crop of hip-hop acts to inspire Marvel Comics’ new collection of variants.
Hov’s 2007 Billboard 200 chart-topper American Gangster gets a facelift featuring martial arts superheroine Elektra while assassin Bullseye flips Mensa’s There’s Alot Going On EP cover. Mighty Captain Marvel also helps remix the artwork for West’s seventh studio effort The Life of Pablo.
Earlier this year, Marvel rolled out covers inspired by Nas’ Life is Good, Dr. Dre’s Compton, EPMD’s Back in Business, and Prodigy and Alchemist’s Albert Einstein.
