Days after releasing his third studio effort Everybody on Friday (May 5), Logic swung by Jimmy Kimmel Live! (May 9) to perform his single “Black SpiderMan” with his collaborator Damian Lemar Hudson (who dressed up as the Marvel hero), a string ensemble and a gospel choir.
“This is crazy. I want to take this awkward moment as the music is going to shout out all my fans. RattPack, thank you so much. I love you guys,” said Logic before strolling down the boulevard and onto the outdoor stage with an eclectic group of dancers behind him. “This album is the fight for equality of all man, woman and child regardless of race, religion, color, creed, religion and sexual orientation,” he added.
Logic’s Everybody is expected to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The project follows his previously released Def Jam offerings, 2015’s The Incredible True Story and 2014’s Under Pressure.
