If anyone had a stellar 2017, it was Logic, whose contemplative anthem “1-800-273-8255” not only helped spread awareness about suicide prevention, but also earned the rapper his highest-charting single on the Billboard Hot 100 to date. On the heels of a powerful performance at the 60th annual Grammy Awards ceremony, Logic returns with his newest single “44 More.”
“44 More” is Logic’s first official solo music since releasing his album Everybody last May. In a snippet of “44 More,” Logic seemingly addresses his detractors, rapping, “Can’t let fame go to your head/ F— with me watch where you tread/ I’m finna kill it instead” over eerie synths and a hard-knocking bassline before unloading his rapid-fire flow
Logic didn’t reveal whether “44 More” will land on any forthcoming projects, but fans have the new Netflix documentary series Rapture featuring the “1-800” rapper to look forward to. On March 30, Netflix will unveil their eight-episode documentary series chronicling the rise of some of the biggest acts in hip-hop, including Logic, Rapsody, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Dave East and more.
