
As Lil Wayne preps his No Ceilings 2 mixtape — hitting every rap fan’s dinner table this Thanksgiving, it turns out that Young Money’s head honcho will also be in recovery mode.
The New Orleans rapper checked in on Twitter after undergoing an elbow surgery on Wednesday, Nov. 18.

While he didn’t tweet the cause of his injury, Wayne has reported several injuries in the past from his favorite pastime: skateboarding. In 2012, he suffered a left shoulder injury after a serious spill.

“Unfortunately I was skating and I tried to do an ollie down one of my banks and I tailed out at the end of it,” he said in a clip from DJ Scoob Doo’s The Nino Brown Story DVD.
According to MTV News, Weezy also had to get nine stitches after a skating accident in August 2011.
