Philadelphia MC Lil Uzi Vert empties out his thoughts on his new release “XO Tour Llif3.”
The trippy visual, animated by Andrew William Ralph, features Lil Uzi in cartoon form, with his signature colorful coif, septum piercing and blunt in hand as he grabs a steering wheel. Lyrically, the rapper spits on the TM88-produced beat about taking Xanax, references his ex-girlfriend and rhymes repetitively: “Push me to the edge/ All my friends are dead.”
Lil Uzi Vert recently made a cameo on Migos’ Hot 100 chart-topper “Bad and Boujee,” and served as the opening act for the European dates of The Weeknd’s Legends of the Fall tour.
For the teaser of his “You Was Right” single, which recently landed Uzi his second platinum record after “Money Longer”, Lil Uzi Vert also used a toony treatment.
