In the heat of his tug-of-war label battle between Generation Now and Roc Nation, Lil Uzi Vert returns with two new tracks to start your week off right. On Sunday, DJ Drama confirmed that the previously leaked “Sanguine Paradise” and “That’s a Rack” would both arrive on streaming services via Generation Now.
After a slight delay, the pair of tunes arrived Tuesday evening (April 9). “That’s a Rack” features melancholic co-production from Internet Money’s Nick Mira. Uzi laments previous mistakes of trying to find love through social media. “All my bitches tens/ No I do not fuck no fans/ I check my DMs, found out she was a man/ I can’t DM never ever again,” he softly rhymes.
“Sanguine Paradise” finds the Philly native implementing a much more uptempo flow throughout the braggadocious track. “We be throwing money in a spiral/ Every time your girl hear a song, yeah I turn her right into my hoe/ She shake her ass and do the eye roll,” Uzi speedily raps.
