In addition to Drake’s Lemon (Remix) debuting on the season two premiere of OVO Sound Radio over the weekend, Lil Pump also debuted a massive remix of his single “Gucci Gang.” Producer Gnealz and Bighead employ the talents of Gucci Mane, 21 Savage, French Montana, J Balvin, Ozuna and Bad Bunny for the 8-minute remix.
“Call me El Gato Guwop or Mustafa the third,” Guwop raps on the opening verse, “back in the day they was callin’ me Ray, Run with the yay, drum on the K, f— with Lil Pump you get shot in the face.”
While Bad Bunny and J Balvin dominate their verse in Spanish, 21 Savage follows in Lil Pump’s cadence: “Gucci gang, Louie gang, Fendi gang, Savage wear a whole lot of m———- anything.” French then chimes in with his verse, “Got a lil’ pump under the Gucci mane, Gucci Gang, Gucci gang, Gucci gang, was yellin ‘Ha’ way before juvie mane.”
The remix is the 17-year-old’s first release since inking a new $8 million deal with Warner Bros., which the rapper announced this past Wednesday (March 14). The new contract was a renegotiation after Pump’s initial contract with Warner was voided in January due to his age. Pump is currently working on his Harvard Dropout mixtape, and has even teased a possible collaboration with Riff Raff. “Got a new car got a new b—- & I got a new deeaal,” Pump wrote on Instagram following the announcement.
The original “Gucci Gang” managed to hit a No. 3 peak on the Billboard Hot 100 in December. With the star-studded new version of the track out now, Lil Pump may just make a resurgence on the chart. Check out the new remix below.
