Lil Nas X is putting his own spin on the “Holiday” season, dropping his new single on Friday (Nov. 13).
The singer teased the song and its accompanying Gibson Hazard-directed music video over the weekend during the New Orleans Saints vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game. His “Old Town Road” leads him to a new adventure, as he’s given the role of Santa Claus after a day of drinking prevents the beloved holiday figure from completing his duties.
“Aye, it’s a holiday / I got ho’s on ho’s and they out of control,” he flows in the hook. “Holiday” follows February’s “Rodeo” featuring Nas, and Lil Nas X’s 2019 7 EP.
